Notice of Budget Proposed Budget Public Hearing

The Cascade Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Wednesday November 5, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. on the proposed Township budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026.  The property tax millage rates proposed to be levied to support the proposed budgets will be a subject of this hearing.  The hearing will be held at the Kent District Library-Cascade Branch, Wisner Center, located at 2870 Jacksmith Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI  49546.  A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection at the township offices located at 5920 Tahoe Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI  49546, during regular business hours.  

The Cascade Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signed for the hearing impaired and audiotape of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon five business days’ notice to the Cascade Charter Township Board.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Cascade Charter Township Board by writing or calling the following: Susan Slater, Cascade Township Clerk, at 5920 Tahoe Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 or by calling the Cascade Charter Township Clerk’s office at (616) 949-1500.
