March 10 - Presidential Primary
August 4--State Primary
November 3—General Election
Two new precincts and five new polling locations have been added due to population growth in Cascade. This resulted in
complex and out-of-order precinct numbering. To prevent confusion, the 10 precincts have been renumbered in order of location, providing an easy reference of precinct divisions.

New Absent Voter Ballot Envelopes
Please note that the state of Michigan has redesigned its absent voter ballot envelopes in an effort to make them more user-friendly for voters and postal workers.
Keep an eye out for a blue and white envelope during the upcoming weeks. Instead of the traditional manila envelope used in the past, a blue envelope will be mailed to voters with a green envelope inside. The back of the blue envelope contains instructions on how to return your ballot using the green envelope.
Blue Envelope – The back of the envelope contains instructions on how to return your ballot. Inside the blue envelope will be the green envelope.
Green Envelope – The green envelope contains the ballot and a sleeve with instructions on how to complete the ballot. Once your ballot is completed, place it in the secrecy sleeve and put both items back into the green envelope.
For more information on the new absent voter ballots, please contact the clerk’s office at 616.949.1508.
