Lisa Krieter Appointed to Cascade Planning Commission
Krieter Will Fill the Unexpired Third Term of Sue Williams
Cascade Township, Michigan, March 15, 2018 – Lisa Krieter has been appointed to Cascade Charter Township’s planning commission.
In this role, Krieter will assist with the preparation and review of the master plan, as well as review land development opportunities in Cascade Township.
“We are pleased to welcome Lisa to the planning commission,” said Rob Beahan, Cascade Township supervisor. “She brings a unique blend of characteristics, diverse experiences and a perspective that the Township and community alike will benefit from. We are looking forward to her ideas and leadership as she participates in making Cascade a better place to live, work and play.”
Krieter’s appointment will fill the unexpired third term of Sue Williams, who resigned due to an ongoing time conflict with another commitment. The term will expire on Dec. 31. At this time, Krieter may be reappointed.
“I’m very pleased to have been appointed to the planning commission for Cascade,” Krieter said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to be part of the process to help build a viable and strong Cascade community.”
Krieter has been a resident of Cascade since 2013 and serves as the executive assistant to the CFO of Grand Rapids Public Schools. Prior to that, she worked in risk management at Fifth Third Bank. In her spare time, she volunteers with Forest Hills Public Schools and is a strong supporter of local businesses.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and anticipates completion of her master’s degree in human resources in December 2019, both from Davenport University.
